According to research TeleWorkers are 22 % more productive than their cubicle counterparts due to:
- uninterrupted work time
- working during peak periods
- working during inclement weather
With current technology TeleWorking programs are much easier to implement than in the past.
TeleWorking programs do not have to be a full time commitment. Employees can telework just one day each week and save an average of 72 hours each year in commute time.1

FlexTime - some flexibility in choosing the start and finish time, but not the number of working hours and days. For instance, arriving before 7 a.m. or after 9:30 a.m., and leaving at 4 p.m. or after 6:30 p.m. Flextime scheduling helps alleviate rush hour congestion.
CompressedWorkWeeks - alternative work schedules that regularly eliminate at least one full workday every two weeks. For instance, four 10-hour days each week or 80 hours every nine days.
StaggeredShifts - alterations to shift start and end times to reduce the number of employees arriving and leaving the worksite at one time. For instance, some shifts may be 8:00 to 4:30, others 8:30 to 5:00, and others 9:00 to 5:30.
