  Great Deals Continue Through CobbRides

Beginning on May 1, CobbRides will offer a new program with more rewards for you! The Commuter Rewards Program offers incentives to commuters who carpool, ride transit, vanpool, telework, bicycle or walk to work. It's a simple concept with great benefits!

  • Cash for Commuters-For those who make the switch from driving alone to using any alternative-carpool, transit, bike, walk, etc. Earn up to $180 over a 3 month period.
  • Commuter Prizes-Log your daily commute onto your CommuteTrak site. Beginning May 1 you will be able to log one week at a time! Earn $25 Target gift cards just for logging.
  • Carpool Rewards-Already carpooling? Through 2005, CobbRides will continue to reward 2-person pools through our Two Can Pool program. We will also supplement the amounts of gas you receive each month from Clean Air Campaign's Commuter Rewards Program.

During March, those submitting logs of Clean Commutes

  • Saved a total of $11,257.50!
  • Caused a reduction of a total of 24,463 Vehicle Miles Traveled
  • Reduced our Total NOx* by 27918.6 grams

* Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) come primarily from combustion of fuels in cars and trucks, coal-fired power plants, industrial boilers and gas-powered engines such as lawnmowers and leaf blowers.
