CarPools who resolve to start logging again in 2008 can earn $40 in gift cards. Earn a $15 gift card for the first month you return to logging and a $25 gift card for the 2nd month of logging.

New two person CarPools can earn a $20 gas card each month for up to 12 months, over a 36-month period. Each rider must log 15 CarPool days together over the month for your CarPool to earn a $20 gas card.

        GRH Changes for 2008

The Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program, provided by The Atlanta Regional Commission, is undergoing significant changes.

Effective February 1, 2008, all commuters will be required to complete and sign a GRH Application and Agreement in order to participate in the program.

The GRH program will provide a ride directly home (or directly back to their car) for commuters who carpool, vanpool, bike, walk, or take transit to get to work and have an unscheduled event occur.

Commuters are eligible for five (5), nonconsecutive, unscheduled events between January 1st and December 31st each year.

All GRH eligible commuters will contact the 1-87- RIDEFIND office using the existing hotline phone number (1-877-433-3463) to arrange a ride and obtain an authorization code prior to using the service.

Holiday Zipper 2007 A Great Success
        2007ZipperWinner

Thanks to our riders, CobbRides' 8th year saw record numbers aboard the 2007 Holiday Zipper. There were approximately 2,100 boardings by almost 600 commuters, a 32% increase over 2006.

One lucky rider won a $500 Simon Mall gift card in our random drawing from all who registered while riding the Zipper. Congratulations to Beth Craven of Genuine Parts Company (pictured at left).

Alice Carnes of Aaron Rents also won a $25 gift card and was the random winner from all those who completed our post Zipper survey.

Thank you to all who participated for your commitment to reducing holiday traffic congestion and pollutants.
