    GRH

What is "GRH" and what does it mean to you? Each partner of CobbRides has a representative who will arrange for employees to get a Guaranteed Ride Home from work in case of an emergency such as:

  • Sick child
  • Family emergency
  • Unscheduled overtime

The benefit is available to any employee who uses an alternative mode of transportation to get to work after they’ve registered at their company website. Go to http:/ /cobbrides.com/programs_grh.html.

  • "The Clean Getaway" Contest
    Star94Car

The Clean Air Campaign, Honda Carland and Star 94 are giving away a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid to one of Star 94's lucky listeners. Look for the hybrid at an upcoming CobbRides event and you will have the chance to register to win. If you win, you'll do your part to help clean up Atlanta's air and save lots of money on gas!

    Leftover money

Are you passing up free money from Commuter Rewards? If your carpool has 3 or more people, you could be collecting $40-$60 in free gas every month for 12 months! Be sure to login with your carpool ID number. Need help? Contact Linda@CobbRides.com.

    Attention CCT riders!

Transit riders will earn a $20 gift card for registering on CommuteTrak. After registering, log in your daily commutes and receive a gift card after one month! Continue to log your commutes on CommuteTrak after your first month to be eligible for $25 and $100 monthly Commuter Prizes.

    Lunch & Learn

Attend a special luncheon with CobbRides and learn how Internal Revenue Service laws regarding transportation benefits can help you and your employees save money. Within certain guidelines, organizations and employees that pay for vanpooling or transit are exempt from certain taxes. The workshop will educate participants on these laws and provide information on how to get a program started at your worksite. Email Jennine@CobbRides.com for more information.

    2006 Vanpool Program

We have two(2) vanpools with seats available. Why waste $$ every month on transportation when you can save big by joining a vanpool? It’s like getting a raise. Give it a try for a week and see if it’s for you! Or maybe you would prefer to get a group of your co-workers together to start a new vanpool. Contact Jennine@CobbRides.com for more detailed information including how we can save you money!

    Successful Poolers

Cassie was persistent! She wanted to save money by forming a carpool. So, when her rideshare application matched with another worker in the Town Center area, Cassie emailed Deidra right away. She was anxious to get started, yet wanted to plan smart. So they arranged to talk by phone to be sure they would be good road companions. They immediately determined the days and times they would meet to ride in one car, and submitted their paperwork to start earning $3 per day in the Cash for Commuters program. Now Cassie and Deidra are big promoters of carpools. Cassie says they estimate that they are each saving $100-$125 a month on gas. “One of the nicest reasons for pooling is we hit if off instantly and really enjoy each other’s company. We actually miss talking with each other when we don't ride in together.” In fact, they are trying to grow their pool to three(3) people so they can not only save more, but also start earning $40 per month in free gas cards. If you don’t know anyone to carpool with, contact CobbRides for help.
