Has the cost of commuting got you stressed? CobbRides has TWO new vanpools forming and there may be a seat for YOU. You may be surprised to learn what your actual drive-alone commute costs. If you are driving 50 miles per day, your monthly drive-to-work cost is a whopping $668.08*. And of course, the farther you drive, the more you spend. CobbRides new vanpool program will place you in our vanpool seats for only $50 per month! That's OVER $7,000 savings in a one-year period! So your biggest problem may be how to spend all that money!
Current routes to the Town Center area of Cobb are coming from Cartersville/White, and Stone Mountain/Snellville.

Walk to Lunch Challenge!
Our pedometers have arrived and the Starter Packs have been delivered! CobbRides has had a great response to the Walk to Lunch Challenge. Many of you are leaving your cars in the parking lot and opting for a healthier choice. Just for occasionally walking to a local restaurant in June, Derian Templeton of Heidelberg and Jacqueline McCay of Solvay each won $20 in gift certificates compliments of O'Charley's and Los Reyes on Chastain Road. Back and better than ever is the Royal Flush Challenge
You will have the opportunity to complete a Pledge Form committing to use an alternative form of transportation during the week of October 25-29. You can choose one of several options-carpool, vanpool, bike, bus, walk or telework. If your name is selected in CobbRides' random drawing, you will win some BIG prizes. Lunch & Learns for CobbRides Partners
This is a great opportunity to learn how to boost morale and productivity. The Clean Air Campaign is sponsoring some Workshops/Seminars for employers in our area who may be considering offering a telework program to their employees. Lunch is included and the workshops are FREE.
