Cobb County, Georgia

EPA names CobbRides a Best Workplace District

CobbRides, the Town Center area’s Transportation Management Association (TMA), has recently been recognized as a Best Workplaces for Commuter District by the Environmental Protection Agency, becoming Georgia’s second district and the nation’s seventh to receive this designation.

Capitalizing on a new promotion using a deck of playing cards developed by CobbRides, the TMA explains to employers and employees in their area that they offer a full deck of services plus transportation improvement projects.

The colorful cards depict all of the benefits of the Town Center Area but remind the commuters that there are a few Jokers (Congestion and Drive Alone Commuters) who can interfere with a Road Map to Success .

With a commitment to reducing traffic congestion, improving transit connections and encouraging alternative forms of transportation in this area, CobbRides, a program of the Town center Area Community Improvement District, serving an area with over 30,000 employees,  approximately 12,000 of whom work for employers who are committed partners with CobbRides.
